Dripping faucets & running toilets are raising our bills. Guess who's paying for it!
Dripping faucets and continually-running toilets are raising the bills KRF has to pay to the Water Department. As an example, in the latest round of bills, one building alone had charges more than $150 over what it should have been. Several other buildings were $50 or so too high.
Since our costs are covered by the rents tenants pay, unnecessary expenditures like this are factored into what we have to charge.
We do routine checks of plumbing leaks. But you're the first line of defense against this waste.
